GENERAL CONSIDERATIONS
ARANDA SOFTWARE ANDINA S.A.S.iscommitted to promoting and integrating sustainable environmental practices into its Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) to ensure a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. Aranda is committed to proposing alternatives that enable the prevention of risks associated with climate change applicable during the course of its activities, aligning information protection with the promotion of employee health and safety, and fostering continuous improvement and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
This policy is based on the following principles:
  1. Commitment to environmental sustainability: The organization is committed to minimizing its environmental impact by taking steps to reduce its carbon footprint, optimize resource use, and reduce waste generated by its operations.
  2. Pollution prevention and control: Identifying measures aimed at reducing pollution by assessing operations to enable the use of processes, practices, materials, or products that prevent, reduce, or control pollution.

  3. Continuous improvement: The organization is committed to periodically reviewing its performance in environmental management, occupational health and safety management (OHSMS), and information security management (ISMS), promoting continuous improvement through the evaluation of results, employee training, responsible management of technological resources, and the adoption of new technologies and best practices in its operations.

The main objectives of this policy are:

  • Raise awareness about the need to implement the environmental policy at all levels of Aranda Software.

  • Implement practices and actions to reduce environmental impact, particularly with regard to reducing the carbon footprint, reducing waste, and conserving natural resources.

  • Promote the responsible use of resources (energy, water, materials) used in organizational processes.

  • Implement security measures in information systems to prevent risks associated with natural disasters and other climate change-related phenomena, such as floods, fires, or storms.

  • Implement preventive measures to minimize occupational risks arising from extreme environmental conditions, such as severe weather, and ensure a healthy work environment for all employees.

  • Ensure compliance of applicable laws, regulations, and standards that are current and aligned with environmental management, workplace safety, and information protection.
