Occupational health and safety management system policy
ARANDA SOFTWARE ANDINA S.A.S has made the implementation and development of an Occupational Health and Safety Management System one of its priorities. This system is supported at the management level and is designed to ensure the physical, mental, and social well-being of employees, contractors, and subcontractors by providing safe and suitable workplaces; minimizing the occurrence of workplace accidents and occupational illnesses for the benefit of both the company and its workers.
The general guidelines for achieving this objective are:
- Commitment to identifying and preventing workplace injuries and illnesses caused by our operations.
- Commitment to the continuous improvement of the management and performance of Aranda Software’s Quality and Occupational Safety and Health Management System.
- Compliance with applicable laws and regulations, as well as the organization’s requirements pertaining to our activities, with regard to comprehensive health and safety.
- All levels of management are responsible for maintaining a healthy and safe work environment.
- All employees are responsible for ensuring their own safety, as well as that of the staff under their supervision and the people around them.
- Risk management will be a top priority in the performance of any work-related activities.
- Contractors and temporary workers are responsible for complying with safety rules and procedures to ensure safe and productive work. They are also responsible for promptly reporting any conditions that could pose risks or lead to unforeseen circumstances for employees and the organization.
This policy must be documented and posted on the SharePoint POLICIES site, ensuring that all company personnel have access to it for their information and implementation. The policy is communicated and disseminated to employees, interns, contractors, subcontractors, visitors, and stakeholders via bulletin boards, emails, the intranet, etc.
The Human Resources Department is responsible for reviewing, updating, and communicating this policy. This review must be conducted annually to ensure its relevance and alignment with the company’s activities.
