Aranda Field Service AFLS
At the end of the first quarter of the year, the Aranda Field Service team released version 9.17.0 including improvements in the native integration with Aranda Service Management (ASMS), improving performance and diagnostic options; improvements in the mobile console on the display of additional customer fields; as well as improvements in Assistme, the customer console, facilitating the creation of cases by the customer himself.
The native integration between AFLS and Aranda Service Management (ASMS), allows to configure and integrate field tasks between one or more projects of these two products: it allows to create field tasks from the ASMS specialist console and manage them from the web consoles of both products. This combination provides customers with a solution that allows them to properly address requests at the service desk with field work.
Aranda Device Management (ADM)
The new version of Aranda Device Management allows the update of the conserver on local servers using distribution projects, allowing administrators to update the software manually or via the management console. In addition, the new ADM agents include several security enhancements, offers higher levels of encryption and limits connections for the use of TLS 1.2 and 1.3 protocols. Considering several security requirements, the new versions have changes in the requirements for installing and updating ADM. It is recommended to review the release notes release notes.
Aranda Enterprise Mobility Management
Aranda Enterprise released Mobility Management version 9.27 including improvements in factory reset tasks for devices and allowing security locks after reboot. This new version includes improvements in the device binding architecture, improvements in the performance of queries and reports, and improvements in the handling of Aranda Content Management permissions on Android 13 devices, among others.
Aranda Service Management
During the first quarter of the year, we highlight the following improvements included in Aranda Service Management Suite (ASMS):
- New API Manager available in the rules engine, which facilitates integration with third-party systems and, under any condition as part of case management, knowledge articles and CIs, can send information to external systems that use Webhooks (APIs), such as ERP systems, CRM, software version control tools, integration management and continuous deployment, among others.
- Automatic import and synchronization of users with Azure Active Directory, through a configuration wizard in ASMS administration. Allowing the automatic creation and update of both end users and technicians that are associated with case management, without requiring the publication of an Active Directory (On Premise) on the Internet.
- Visual improvements in the creation of cases through ASMS bots (in Teams and WhatsApp), allowing to navigate through the category tree as the conversation progresses and thus favoring the use of bots as automated channels of communication with end users.
- New condition "File attached" for the rules engine, allowing to validate when a file (private or public) is attached to a case and from this event, to execute actions of the rules engine (e.g. notification via mail, modify the case, create related cases, among others).
- Performance improvements in the processes of massive loading of management concepts into ASMS (import and export), reducing time and effort in configuration activities (e.g. creation of new projects).
